Weener Memorial gets off the ground

The members of the Education and Culture Committee of the town Weener have decided in union the establishment of a memorial within the project “On the way of Anne Frank” on May 14, 2013. Thus, the station in Weener becomes a central point of the subproject “Track marks”. At the suggestion of Fritz Wessels (SPD) and Franz Marheineke (CDU) the establishment of a commemorative plaque has been discussed intensively in recent weeks. The overall concept is currently in the planning phase. The decision on the scope and implementation of the concept is to be expected towards the end of the year.
